Jocelyn specializes in health care, consumer protection and consumer fraud matters. She has extensive experience litigating class actions and individual cases in federal, state and administrative courts. Jocelyn is also a certified arbitrator and mediator specializing in consumer protection, commercial, employment and labor law.
Prior to joining the Cicala Law Firm, Jocelyn worked at Kirby McInerney LLP where she concentrated on health care fraud, antitrust and securities matters. Among other things, Jocelyn was a key member of the team led by Joanne Cicala Inscore representing the City of New York, 43 New York counties and the states of Iowa and Michigan in protracted false claims litigation against Big Pharma. Before working at Kirby McInerney, Jocelyn worked on complex consumer, antitrust and securities fraud class action lawsuits, and represented policy holders against insurance companies.
Jocelyn earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School where she won awards for legal writing and served as an associate editor of the University of Michigan Journal of Gender and Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Michael L. Bender, Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court (now retired). Jocelyn received her B.A. from Princeton University.
Prior to beginning her legal career Jocelyn was a professional ski instructor.
