Alexandra Cicala is a Legal Intern at The Cicala Law Firm. Alexandra will commence her undergraduate studies this fall 2023 at St. John's University in Queens, New York. She is the recipient of St. John's University's Provost Scholarship and was accepted to the university's Thomas J. Cox, Jr. Business Honors Program where she is on a pre-law track, majoring in business. She plans to participate in St. John's B.S./J.D. 3+3 law program.
Prior to interning with The Cicala Law Firm, Alexandra was involved in numerous law-related extracurriculars at her high school. She served as “lead attorney” for the Westfield Mock Trial Team from 2020-2023. Alexandra also has been a member of New Jersey's Youth and Government (“YAG”) since 2018. She was elected “Chief Justice” of YAG Courts during both her junior and senior year and was elected President of the Westfield YAG Delegation in senior year.
Most recently, Alexandra conducted an independent research project on the importance of financial literacy being taught in American schools, "The Case for Common Cents," under the guidance of St. John's University Professors Basilio Monteiro and Joseph G. Kenny.
