On March 1, 2020, the Cicala Law Firm filed a complaint on behalf of Harris County, TX against 43 generic drug manufacturers alleged to have engaged one of the most egregious price-fixing conspiracies in the history of the United States. This conspiracy resulted in massive profits for these companies and caused the prices of generic drugs to skyrocket at unprecedented rates—many by more than 1000%— costing the taxpayers of Harris County millions and the United States healthcare system billions of dollars.
We are honored to do this good work on behalf of Harris County. We seek an end to the unlawful practices at issue and a return of precious taxpayer dollars to the public fisc.
